johny, i have an 01 lightning, and i would like to get the truck into the high 12s with street tires. i dont want to lose the smooth quiet shifting and docile running of a stock truck, because i drive it every day. is this possible to achieve? and what exact products should be used to do this if its possible?

Al,I have a '01 L.The only things i have done to it is the J/L Diablo chip and the J/L 3#lower pulley.I also remove the air filter and lower the tailgate at the track.I have never even checked the air in the rear tires. My truck has ran a best of 12.782 @107.The worst it has ran is 12.997 only because the track conditions were horrible and it spun .I hope this helps
