2001slvbullet- Yes you can run low 12's without nitrous but then most that I have seen do this have thousand's of dollars worth of mods and run with no tail gate, no hitch, no spare tire, no passagner seat, no sway bars and some with no power steering!! You could do this or you could just get yourself a good chip and about a $700.00 nitrous kit and then be 100% sure that you can run low 12's without having to strip the truck and wait for the perfect air!

 

hdmlnium- I haven't been to the track since the nitrous install but I have tested it with my G-tech. My best run on F-1's without nitrous was 13.23. With nitous and my F1-'s and activating the nitrous in 2nd gear I went a best of 12.60. I figure that you should lose at least 6 tenths with a 75hp shot. With slicks and launching on the nitrous, I wouldn't be surprised to see close to
8 tenths reduction with just the 75hp shot!!

with the nitrous you will see about 1 tenth for every 10 HP, with the NX kit that is. From my experience's.

I have mine activated at WOT, so as soon as I leave the tree I'm spraying. Works great and to tell you the truth, the first time I sprayed the 50 shot it was so smooth I couldn't even tell I was using juice. until I looked at my slip and saw that first 12.48 run at WFC4, Amazing. As long as you have enough fuel so you don't lean out the motor, you'll be fine with the N20. I recently just bought two of the 255LPH fuel pumps so I know I can run the 150 shot and be OK!

seen way to many nitrous explosions at the track... I personaly wont mess with the stuff. But thats just me.
