Question Fog Light Install on Lightning Bumper?

I just put a lightning bumper cover on my 99 f150 and i just got the fog lights but i cant get them to go in. Maybe the lightning owners can help me out on this one cause i am stumped. The lower brackets that support the bumper block off most of the hole in the bumper and i just dont see how it bolts up. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

kind of hard to explain, i pulled out my 2000 fogs for some aftermarkets. the stocks will have a single bolt that comes out the bottom back of the light. that bolt makes a 90* angle to the chassis of the light and goes right through the hole in the cover then through the metal mounting bracket that supports the cover, on the back side a washer then lock washer and bolt hold everything in place. if a find my digital camera ill try to post some pics, let me know if noone else can help..

when you say the bolt goes through the hole in the cover do you mean the big open hole or one of the small holes that is around the big hole and does your fog lights have kind of a u-shaped piece of metal but its like a square u that acts like a spacer and has indents that seem to line up with the bumps around the bolt housing. Mine came with this and if i use it it doesent leave me with any room to put a bolt on but if i dont the bolt wont go down far enough to tighten it. Its driving me crazy i really need any help you can give me.

got them at autozone, kind of a piaa initation, blue lense when off, bright white when on. cost about 85 for a pair. bolted right in, only mod was not totally necessary, is was that i cut away some of the inside cup where the stock light mounts cause the aftermarket is not a circle but a oval and the top of the cup was rubbing on the light and making it harder to direct the beam..

ill post some pics when i get this film developed and i figure out how to link to the gallery in a post

Did you get a 2001 bumper or a 1999/2000?

Do you have 2001 fogs or 1999/2000?

They're different and don't mix very well.
