Help me convince :)

Help my convince my dad to buy a lightning. Ill know he'll love it, and the test drive will make it for sure.

But, how high would the monthly payment be, on the L if sticker was 27K w/ A-Plan? 24-month lease too.

Thanks!

depends on a few variables....

my 2001 L purchase price was something like 27,800 and I put only $1000 down. my monthly payment is about $560. this is with an interest rate of something like 7.65. I would assume that a lease payment would be slightly lower.

hope this helps.

later,
chris

i was told a lease would be more than a buy, since the residual was not good on the l's, but for a 27K truck at 7 percent for 4 years would be 646.55, and for 5 years it would be 534.63, thats if tax and title were rolled in to the 27k...

hope this doesnt put a damper in the truck purchace, i KNOW he will love to drive the truck everyday, i do, and so does everyone i talk to..

ya, and dont forget all the extras that you will be purchasing after the initial truck buy..

pulleys
chip
and on
and on
and on
but thats what makes this truck so much fun...right???

First off, I'm 62 yrs 'old'. I can't get enough of my L--it does everything it is supposed to do. But, I don't know if you can 'justify' it on price alone---after all, it won't haul much except ***! If the 'drive' doesn't grab him, I don't think he'll ante up?

Good luck,

Dan
