JL reburned chip, JL pulley, and a camaro

I just want to say thanks to Johnny for taking good care of me. I sent in my old JL diablo chip Thursday for a reburn with his new program and I installed back into my truck today. He also sent along the new lower pulley. It took 45 min to install start to finish. I put my tranny accumulator valve back in along with a new B&M tranny pan. All I can say is WOW!! The boost gauge goes so far into the black it's not even funny! I took it for a trip down the strip and was burning out in the 1-2 shift like crazy! The car gods must have been watching me because at the next light there was a new style Z28 Camaro. I reved it a few times while they looked at me like I was crazy. When that light turned I smoked them worse than my tires. After I burned out for about 20 ft. and then hit the 1-2 shift burn out they were 3-4 lengths behind me. I slowed to wait for them but they turned off the main road before I could talk to them. I have beat Z28 before but not by this much and for such a short distance. Thanks Johnny I was thinking my truck was a piece of s**t. Not anymore! I'm hopefully going to the track Friday so I'll have some times.

Hankfan, Keith was saying something about nitrous. I won't have a chance against that. Is he going to get JDM's pulley also? Looks like it's going to rain Sat. I hope not.

Yeah Keith helped me install my nitrous kit. When ever he comes in and I give him a ride while on the bottle, I am sure he will be ordering his kit soon! He better get it before Ted gets his Z06 because he is going to need it !!! LOL

easterisland: Good Kill! I can't wait to get my lil 'ol stock Chevy in. I'm stuck with racing Civics and the like in my Impala. It's getting pretty damn old.....

Hankfan: What's up man!? I'm picking Keith up at 7am in the morning and we're headed up to BG. I still haven't seen the Electron Blue in person. If I don't like it, I'm gonna change the color to Yellow. I have until Aug 24th to make any changes to the order. I almost cancelled my order because I heard the '03s are gonna have 450hp. But you know how that is. You can never keep up because they will always come out with something that is better than the previous model year. Hell, I'm gonna get me one now and enjoy that SOB as soon as I can. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!...... Take care and I'll see ya on the street in a few months.....

Yellow 00- I saw a 02 EB Z06 the weekend before last and I must say that I would without a doubt get a yellow Z06. The EB Z06's do look good when they appear a light shade of blue but sometimes they look real dark like a cheap blue. Also I would say yellow would be a whole lot easier to keep clean! This is just my opinion, but either way you are going to have one bad @ss ride.

Also is it a little to early to ask for a ride?

I know what you mean about the different shades in different light settings. After making the trip to BG today, DAYAM!!!!!!! All I can say is that I will be cleaning the car every day. That is one of the best blue shades I've seen. Of course keeping it clean, like you said, is gonna be a bi!ch. The yellow still looks bad-***, but I think I should now go with something that doesn't scream out, "It was ME! Pull me Over!!" We saw about 30 EB Z06s today and got a real good look at 2 of them that were at the Corvette Museum thanks to a buddy of mine that let us have a look at the back where they kep all of the museum deliveries. I was wanting to just jump in one and take off!

You might have to talk with Keith about the co-pilot seat. He said he has dibbs on being the camera guy and I have the same dibbs on his L. .... I can't wait to post some vids of him smoking some of the locals here. It should be fun! Take care!

Ted

I hope you don't mean me. Not anymore unless Keith's got that N2O hooked up. If he did he probably wouldn't say anything.
I'll hopefully get some good 1/8 mile times tonight if the weather holds out.

I meant whoever he would be racing locally. You know, Chevy's, Dodge's, Rice, Ford's, etc..... Keith is gonna hook up the N20 sticker on the back of his L again, so I guess he'll continue to be the fastest. ....... Have you done some more mods to your L? I was wondering who the hell "easterisland" was and Keith told me it was you. Looks like I'll be changing my handle soon. Later man!
