Soooooo Niiceeee!!

Those wheels are awsome. I think they are so nice on that truck. Your gonna get mixed opionions on any set of rims you buy. Everyone has there own taste. I've seen those wheels spinning wheel a guy in Calgary was driving. They look awsome well spinning down the road. I wish I had those. Good choice. Know your a real pimp. Rollin on 22" dubs

Sorry Bill. Never thought I would say this about ANYTHING to do with your truck, but those wheels are horrible. They belong somewhere else. What's next a BIG stereo and a playstation 2?
If you like them that is what matters. If we all liked the same things it would be a very dull world. Put the 20s or some chromed 18s on. My extremely humble wet-nosed opinion.

Wink

O.k. a lot of replies, and I did ask for the good ones and bad ones. I want to thank everyone that told me how they felt, I knew there would be mixed feelings on these wheels and tires. I thought that less of you would have hated them but thats o.k. because tastes are different. I like them and that is what matters, I too think that they would look better with a taller sidewall. I hope that someone comes out with a 295/35/22 or maybe even a 295/40/22 but that one might hit. I guess I have a few months before I burn the 30's off to see what else would work.
To answer some of the questions:

What I paid for them? A long story so I will try to explain quickly. A guy posted on NLOC about buying a set of these 22" bofa's and he paid $8000.00 for the rims and tires. I liked them so I posted about what the rims I was planning on getting were, REMEMBER the Hot Blonde that was sitting on one of these 22's. Well anyway I called around trying to find the best price and the best price I found was $5960.00 for the rims and tires. These guys told me that if someone paid $8000.00 for them they must have paid retail (or full price) He couldn't have shopped around to much. I was already to order them at the $5960.00 price and a couple of guys on NLOC told me that the same rims and tires that I was going to buy were on E-bay. So I did the bidding thing and won. I ended up paying $4160.00 with shipping. The bonus of all this was when the guy took the rims off his Navi he notticed a couple of spots on the rims, he then brought them down to the shop in Fla. where he bought them and the shop replaced all four rims with brand new ones. So only the tires have some slight use on them. He paid just over $6000.00 for them but he bought a S- series Benz. He is selling the Navi and putting it back to stock. Long story on the price but I wanted to tell you what I paid for them and the not have a lot of questions on why so cheap. That is the deal.
The truck rides nice but I need to have the rims and tires balanced over, I think were thy guy new that he would never see them again he just did a quick balance job.
Whats next a big stereo? You guessed it it goes in on Friday

The Fleet !

Hotshot,
Here is the "Show off" picture. My truck is only adorned with the factory bed cover. I live in Kissimmee and get up in Orlando once in a while. The Cobra is driven by my better half. The 88 GT sits in the garage and the 98 was sold, but it still makes for a cool photo if I must say so! I drive my 94 Explorer as much if not more than the Lightning. It's a 99 and I have about 18k on the clock.
Tom
(Can anyone see the picture here?)
