If I run over a cigarette bud with my 295/45/18’s I cringed.
I’ve gone through 6 rims in 2 years here in Dallas driving way to fast or being too wide, so maybe I’m over exaggerating the situation some. Let’s face it, I can’t see those rims lasting me 1 week here in Dallas.
Like Ralf Nader said ‘anything over 20mph could be dangerous on 22” rims'. LOL
At least your overall diameter didn’t seem to change too much.

To the Lightning owner's eye it's a dramatic change and you'll get dramatic responses. But that's just one out of 14,980 car owners. The rest will dig it.
Since you've got the ballz to do the good stuff, put some fat white walls on there...

Looking Good! How is the ride? Do you feel every hole
in the road since you don't have that much rubber with
that profile? Were the rims heavy and hard to balance?
Thanks in Advance, DJY

The wheels are nice
, but I wouldn't have them in my truck. JMHO. I like to have a little more tire between the road and the wheel. Your 20" chrome wheels looked much better in my opinion. "Different strokes for different folks" ... Your truck still looks awesome though !!!

Stop the madness...(haha)
HD: 18's stock, then chrome 20's, now 22's...whats next? I think I saw some pretty sweet 36's on a Mack truck today on the way to work...you could probalby get em to fit in there somehow (jk). I will say that 22's fill out the wheelwell the best I've seen so far (20's were close, but not enough), but I think I'm still in shock from (#1) the fact they even make 22's, and (#2) you were able to fit them under your slammed truck, to give you an honest opinion of what i think at this point. What I do know, though, is that you best be hitting up N.E.Dragway at some point to get some ET's (and MPH) to see what kind of a difference they make. My guess is you'll stay right where you are now (12.7's)...since the added weight of the wheels will be offset by the major loss your wallet must have felt (jk). hope to see you guys again soon at N.E., and so I can see those bad ****'s (i mean bofa's...haha) up close and in person. later...
I must be getting old! The style and cartoonish size is not for me. The super small sidewalls on a vehicle this size is just plain wrong! It looks very (dare I say????) ricey. This is my opinion ,which you asked for, not a slam. What matters is if you are happy whith what must be a huge outlay of cash.
I would like to know the age of those that like the look and style.

Style wise, the wheels are nice (not my first choice, but why should you care) 22's definately are the way to go. Though your 20's were sweet too. Your truck looks awesome, but what I really want to know is......Do the JDM decals come in other colors? That thing looks sweet on your truck H. Fill me in !!!
