help on the R/T board..
For the most part as it seems, most but not all, R/T owners can't find their --- with both hands and a road map. Most of them think just because their truck is lighter and has a bigger CI motor that if they put on a S/C they will be fater than a L. They dont relize what all has to be done to have a fast truck. There is a friend of ours down here in Houston with a 99? yellow R/T that runs slightly faster than we do. Now it took 2 years of trying things and finding the right combonation for it all to work right. God only knows how much money has been spent on that truck though. This just goes to show any thing can be done, it just takes time and comement.
though i love my lil yellow R/T, i have to agree that obviously the L is faster than the Dak, and obviously the R/T can handle a lil better because its lighter...i bought the R/T cuz i love yellow and i like the way the dakotas look, knowindamn well that if i did pull up to a L what would happen, well i threw some mods inand i'm gettin closer and closer, reachin 13.9 nowawdays with headers and exhaust on the way, took alot to get here, but i'm here!!
