The part # given for the "fix" is a good part number as long as you switch the AB around to BA.. Apple Ford in Columbia Md, who I buy about 3k a month worth of parts from told me that the original number XL3Z-9424-AB is no good, but if you switch the AB to BA it comes up as a intake, and it is only 185 dollars my cost. I will double and triple check tomorrow with them and I will ask the service manager specifically if there is a fix and what the part number is if there is a fix....

There is no TSB or secret recall on these... SVT has alot of say in if these trucks get fixed under warranty or not... that is why when you go in for a repair, they upload all your computer info and send it to an SVT tech at SVT to make sure everything is Kosher....

I am just as interested in this situation as the rest of you, and I am sorry to those of you that have had this problem or are experiencing it now, they should damn well stand behind their product... Do they actually think that if you advertise a 380hp truck with all these go fast goodies that we are gonna drive them like little old ladies????

I will update tomorrow when I find out more...

One more thing I find interesting is the person that posted that he had one under his desk hasnt posted some pictures or emailed them to someone to post them for him................Just a thought..... hopefully that wasnt bull****.... JJ
