I would say Bassani is louder then the Borla, but I haven't heard Borla on a L.

The borla I had, had a nice low rumble at idle, had that backpressure just like 2_Fast4U, sounded great when I down shifted, and nice acceleration.

The Bassani I heard had a louder idle tone, and was louder from there on.

JBLSilver01,

What did you pay for the 14468 Magnaflow and where can I order it from? Thanks.

I just had the Magnaflow installed on monday. SOme custom bending is required and the total cost installed was $195. I'm very pleased with the sound....especially at WOT..

If you click on the TRACK VIDEO link in my signature, listen carefully to my truck and you can hear Borla the whole way down the track

I have under the truck pics of the borla on my '01 in the f150 online photo gallery click on the link in my sig. The Borla sounds great, takes about 1/2 hour to 1 hour to install, easy to put the stock back on if you want, and not very expensive $425-$500 depending on where you get it.

Their are other options. I run the Dynomax Race Magnums (as does Sal I think) and they sound great.
