Changed sparkplugs today
I can't remember the the name of the stuff. But I used it to clean out the eaton. You undo the brake vacumn hose and let the stuff get sucked in taking care not to stall the motor. When done let sit awhile and then take it out for a ride. You wouldn't believe the cloud of smoke when blowing the stuff out. I passes two people on bikes and totally engulfed them. It wasn't intentional.
Come on man THINK harder. We need to know the name of that stuff. I pulled my IC and cleaned it out and while I had it all apart I replaced the PCV hose set up with a new factory one. I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW.....OIL seperator. I chose not to put one on based on the 'if its not broke don't fix it' logic. My truck has always pulled like a mule and still runs really strong without the oil seperator. I honestly couldn't tell the difference in how the truck ran after the IC was cleaned so I'm not sure how much the oil was hurting me. Now if I had upped the boost then I'd be all over an oil seperator to keep detonation away. It seems that the factory's set up works flawlessly with an unmodified engine.
