I do you can buy a complete kit for the import for about $1800.00-$2800.00 and that is complete for our truck they are what just a blower which bolt directly to the stock set up and a chip.

I saw a couple of the new Magna chargers that utilize eaton rotors and they should be available shortly and will be a lot less money.
Just another option to think about.

I got my KB and a Diablo chip for $1500. OK so it had a hundred miles on it, big deal. The only thing that kept me from buying a new one was the 3k price tag. BTW I am selling the Diablo chip if anyone is interested http://www.nloc.net/forum/showthread...threadid=50793

I think the answer is simple...

If you think they're too expensive, dont buy them.

They are priced at what all vendors feel is required for themselves and their distributors to make money as well as what the market will bear. Right now people are buying the things up like hot-cakes... Apparently enough people think they are priced correctly to buy them fast enough to keep the shelves empty

I paid $3K for my KB and didn't feel cheated. Of course I would have liked to pay less. I don't like paying $1.60 for gas, but that is what I pay. I would have rather purchased a used one along with a chip for $1500, but that wasn't available to me.
