Somehow I just don’t see Johnny sitting around the house surrounded by blowers thinking, “What in the hell am I going to do with all these blowers?”

twin screws are generally a more expensive blower than roots or centrifugal. they are a more advanved technology, so expect them to be more. as the years pass and more aftermarket blowers come out im sure they will get cheaper.

price seems fair to me, if its selling, that means its at the right price for the most part. Its not just the cost of the item, you have to sell it, do customer service, have a shop to sell it from, stock it, inventory it, import it, ship it, manage the employees that do all of those things, blah blah blah, the list is endless. I would like to think you would support your vendor enough to give them some money for their efforts. If you think its over priced, go make it yourself.

I'll tell you what is a real rip off then. CD's and DVD's. They only cost pennies to make yet they sale for nearly $20 at stores. Talk about mark up. You were complaining about a measly 50%?

1900 to make, its not about supporting the vendor, all they do is ship them, its about someone being greedy with money and marking it up to all hell.

hey

what about SUavy's setup that he is still keeping hush hush.
I heard that it was to be priced in the 1000's...

complete kit...

He can't and won't say anything about it unti it is ready for production (deal he made with manufacturer or something)

It'd be mice to have some hope though.

Perhaps he'll chime in here.

I wonder how many of the complainers have no problem paying over $10 a gallon for bottled water that they could get from the tap for free.
