LOL! I'm an ol timer too. Still have my 2001, modified Lightning with 108,000 wonderful(except when I spun two rod bearings but it was my fault) miles on her but with a brand new engine replacement about 5K ago.







Still looks pretty good.

I did not post much when I raced my lightning back in the day but I visited the site everyday. Good to see the old names. I remeber reading your posts back in the day. I miss my truck loss of income forced the sale of my pride and joy.

 

Another old timer. I hit this board about once every few months, but mostly hang out in General Discussion.

Hello everyone, i use to hang out here A LOT! I recognize some of the names. Glad to hear you guys are still around.

I drove Black 2000 #235, Sold it in 2003, but want her back!

 

I used to read every single post on here for years before I even became a member. Good to see some old timers still lurking. Whatever happened to that guy named Spiro? And who had that black L with the pink bulldog decal and driver/passenger side exhaust setup? I also remember someone had a silver one with AC Cobra style exhaust pipes instead of the moulding along the bottom of the cab...

Edit: I guess I joined in 2000 so it couldn't have been "years before" lol

 

I'm waiting for RTKILLA to boing in. I'd really like to know what he did with his truck.

 

It's now in 7,398 pieces after Joe got carried away with a Sawz-All while attempting some modification to it.

Traded in my 01 L for an 03 HD back in 03. Miss the L sometimes but it stayed local, hardly drive the HD anymore.
