Question

Do 2/2 - 1/2 "kits" such as Bell Tech and Hotchkis come with new cam adjusters? How much are they from Ford? Part #? Just looking for some info on these. Thanks.

I had a shop do the install on my red truck. Since they knew that they were required, the cost was included in the entire qoute and the parts were there the day I showed up. I would suggest calling a Ford parts department and tell them that you need the eccentric bolts and washers to properly align your Lightning.

Sorry I can't help more...

BTW, I do recall reading one of the threads (here or NLOC) that someone had Ford install them for free because he insisted that the Lightning should have come from the factory with them already installed.

One other item regarding the front springs. If you are not planning on road racing, but straight line race (drag, street, or fun), I wouldn't suggest getting the front coils. I have less off the line traction than I used to. I don't care, maybe others will.

I got my cam adjusters at NAPA. I don't have the part # handy but I got it off this board. If I recall they were $26 each and you need 2 of them.
