Past L owner looking for advice

I was an L owner way back when we thought a PSP air intake (filter) and a single position chip was the ****z. I had a red 99 and a DSG 03. I sold the 03 to buy a 2005 C6. As much fun as the Vette is I miss the L. I was doing track events in the L and it was costing me a bundle so I bought the C6. The C6 was a great track car but now I have purchased a Race car (89 Stang I race in CMC with NASA) and miss having a larger vehicle. I've been looking at a Lexus GS450 as well as a SRT8 300C. Now I see the Harley is supercharged but it's a second slower than the last gen. Harley? I am not a Harley motorcycle fan but I would really enjoy another fast truck and the four doors would be nice. I've read a few reviews on the 08 Harley and they were mixed. I'm looking for your thoughts on it? I would think with fuel prices I should be able to buy one cheap?

Thanks,

Jerry

A 2008 HD 150 without the super charger is $43,450. I would rather find a clean 02-03.

I would go with an 02 or 03 also.
With a couple mods,,,it would be as fast as a stock L.

Or just build what you want...lol

I prefer the '03 Harley's myself but either an '02 or an '03 with a couple mods like phil mentioned and you'll be faster than a stock L.

I have a clean 01 harley truck with 14K miles on it if interested. You could add a stock or aftermarket supercharger to it. It's black with the 03 flame pinstrips on it. I can send you pics and a price if interested. Let me know

I love mine. And in this fuel-crazy atmosphere, used ones are a bargain!

I paid $47K last year, edmunds.com has it at $27K now.
