I'm still here occasionally looking for tech also. Try to still think we are stronger in numbers. Been gone since June 13, got cut on in Dallas, they had to take out a 90% plaque blockage in the aorta right at the bifircation of the renal arteries. Everything went well recooping now, wife told me it took them 6hrs to do it. Body looks like I got in the way of a Pirsst off Ninja Turtle swinging a samuria sword cutting me nearly in half (around) not up and down. They removed the lower left floating rib, got it back from them and hit the wife with it occasionally, hahaha,

By the way talked to one of the cousins' father that lives in Lubbock and said his son had just traded his new GT in and bought an 03 or 04 L, said he could not remember, but said it only had 28k+ miles and was in pristine condition with an after market pulley and tune, then got it totaled by some dumb-ars who hit the back of him driving down the road, after he moved to the right to let the dumb-ars by. Insurance said frame was bent so they totaled it. He went and got him and 03 Cobra and is driving it now.

We need a Gen 3 to help revive the L forums! Unfortunately, in Fords present financial condition, and runaway fuel prices I don't see that happening any time soon...if ever!

This forum has really slowed down.
They all seem alot slower as the trucks get older.

Been here for 9 years, just don't stop by to chat much anymore. My '99 is still beautiful and I love it as much as ever (even after over 9 years of ownership, I still find myself staring at it in the garage), but with $4.25 gas, 12 mpg city and $105 fill-ups, it takes some of the fun out of blasting down the road. So, I tend to drive my wife's little BMW Z-3 or my old Harley more than the L. She will, however, always be my first love.

Mike

Haven't posted here in a while, like others have said it has slowed down quite a bit since back in the day. I still have my 02 L, 33k on her now. I mostly lurk now, search for install tips/how-to's when I get a new mod.

2005 250 HP turbo hayabusa
Don't be so sure about that

Of course after I made this account, I remembered my other login info so have been using it.
