Ah the Aroma wafting in the mid-morning air, the harmonious sounds of nature at work. It does send a tingle down ones spine does it not. Drama either at a High School Level or performed by Street Peddlers should not be under sold nor under rated for that fact,,,, Yet embraced, nurtured even..
As for these dribbling, well a mer spit cup should and generally will sufice....

Who still comes thru and checks out the boards regularly? Post up all you ghosts out there.
Your neighbor to the north (greensboro) is still poking his head around the forums.

It appears that I am one of the long term members who also started lurking in late 1999 when I first got the lightning. IS THERE ANYONE HERE WITH LESS POST!

I usually gravitate to sites with the most 'tech' - not a whole lot of new technical stuff going on with Lightnings lately and I don't really expect there to be much more. Most of the time, it's just rehashing the same stuff.

Glad to see you still have the truck neighbor. Seems there are a few of us still hanging around. What we need is a few postwhores to keep things jumping.

the only piece I have left from my pristine 2004 that was stolen and stripped is the BABolt single blade throttle body

I had it professionally polished to a mirror shine and it sits on my desk - Its fun watching people at work trying to figure out what it is with out staring

I also was one of the ones that back in 2000 waited like 4 months for the only cold air intake available the PSP - Sal was always behind on those ...

I recently spent a few hours converting the olb NLOC UBB message board threads to VB and importing them into the NLOC forum. There are about 140k posts from 2000-2002 that were restored - Its interesting to go back and look at peoples signatures from back then and the times they were running

Spiro took my first order for PSP. I had to re-order it 4 months later.

Remember the killer 2# pulleys came out? "Those things will blow your engine."

And then the 4 pounder.

And how everything had to be retuned, for every tiny little change to the truck.

Eventually, people realized you could run a 4# pulley with no tune and be just fine. The computer will adjust for it.

I've been running a Whipple, on the stock block, for over two years with 500/600; and, it's still running like a champ.

Ah the good old days... Most (if not all) of the Lightning forums are not what they used to be, but I still visit almost daily... Old habits are tough to break...

Speaking of Spiro, I still have the Cervinis cowl hood that I bought from him way back when on my L...

Odin,

I talked to Mark for like 5 minutes last November when my fiance' and I were in in Miami after a cruise and hanging with Bulldog and his lady. I have a couple numbers for him. PM en route.

Doug,

Sorry bout your truck chief. The BABolt TB is a rare thing indeed. 1BADTK running a 12 was the man to beat.

Silver-Bolt,

Remember when Spiro worked for JDM and the caged pulley debacle that ensued (no pun intended)?

Bob
