I've got a 2000, not known yet until production ends. How do you find the build date?

I know there are no L with the color but, if you have a non-L the Amazon Green door handle for the keypad is part no. XL1Z-78822505-BAG

Visiting here from the H-D F-150 world.

Toyman, you da man! Coolest install I've done. Everything went perfect.

Only one question. The keypad seems to be only held in with the one screw. My pad seems a little "wiggly" on each edge (you can almost pry between the keypad and door handle. I went to an Expedition and their pad was rock solid. Have you noticed the same thing?

Quick Question. What's the point of this? If you have keyless entry, it's as simple as pushing a button? Why would you want to have a keypad on your door? I really see no point in it, unless i'm missing something.

Cool

The anti-lock out function could save your butt, you never know. Just don't forget the code too! It happens, someone here posted about it a week or so back. Mine has yet to go in but I have the parts

MotorWorf - Should be one screw at each end. Makes it rock solid.

Well, hopefully nobody has the problems installing theirs that I had. The instructions were for the most part, flawless. Though I couldn't find where the white controller box with my number on it was. If the location was in your posts, I missed it. (Dealers are clueless) Crap. That took me 15 minutes to find, finally about standing on my head under the dash. That wasn't the problem. You already know what a PITA the rear nut on the handle is. Imagine getting a socket on the nut and ratcheting forever, because the t-bolt is turning with the socket. Yep, happened to me. Had to use a die grinder to cut off the nut. Turned an hour job into about 2.5.
