I think chevy would be better off to work on their 1980's body style!

My mechanic was telling me that vette-pickuptruck-chevy is supposed to be coming out in November though? GMC sent him literature on it. He's a big GMC fan, though he does love my Lightning (gives me oil changes, checkups, etc for free). He was telling me I want to sell my truck to get it.

Anyone else hear news of that? I remember seeing pics of it a while back...it is that one where the cab and body are one piece?

BEEP BEEP, It's the SSR, men fear it, women desire it, and for 40K, you can unleash the stock 6.0L 300hp powerplant on unsuspecting low end Chrysler products. own one now, before the image of one, owns you!

his truck weighs like 5300lbs i think he said...

his 5.3 seems to be kinda strong...

I would question that 50HP nitrous shot, he tends to steer you away from the nitrous questions. Unless he's run some new times last I saw was the 12.5 range, he was claiming a 25HP shot then for "cooling" because he has no intercooler. My guess is he's running a 150HP shot.

i'll have to try that one at the service dept next time. the nitrous? that's just there to help out your leaky pos intercooler. i'm not using it as a power adder. if you hold your hand out, i will demonstrate the cooling properties

Thumbs up

Obergruppenfuhrer MRBBQMAN - The SSR should be called Das Lump - it's that ugly! Probably won't see the light of day due to Eddie Munster and Lurch fine tuning the dynomite and detonator for a spectacular explosion!

This message is only for Burninout101 and Hurricane Larry. I think the only barrier of the great white north is that we have CLASS and those below the border do not. This is substantiated by the fact you two took the time to send absolutely ridiculous messages on a board that is reserved for professionals. It is too bad that you didn't bite your tongue.

HORSE9,

Let’s review. Madhouse stated, “A little slow on the uptake, are we...?” and I replied, “It's not that HORSE9 is slow, it’s the language barrier of the great white north.” With a SMILEY FACE no less!! Apparently Madhouse’s comment was much more professional than mine (sorry to drag you into this Madhouse). At least my comment was giving you an out since you don’t have a sense of humor. Maybe, that’s what you mean by ‘CLASS’ – no sense of humor. Gosh and I thought you northerners were suppose to be funny. Tom Green is from Pembroke, Canada. He’s a comedian, and I think his whole shtick is about ‘being without class’. Don’t you just love stereotypes?

You ask a question and you complain when we “people in the south” don’t know the answer. In Ontario there is a GM dealer, DOMINION MOTORS LTD whose slogan is “Serving Thunder Bay's Automobile Needs Since 1911”. Do you think they have something to do with this THUNDER machine? Why would you believe that GM would have a “GMC concept vehicle” as part of a TV commercial? Not exactly a well thought out question of a PROFESSIONAL if you ask me. OF course this leads me to ask, professional WHAT? Oh, I see, you are a CHIEF Human Resource Manager. Love the title.

RELAX.

Well... on the dyno, he only gains 30RWHP with it.. i doubt a 150 shot would be so weak on his truck... I actually believe him on the 50 shot.. he claims stock bottom end..

I talked to him ~2 weeks ago, had just gone to VMP or Richmond... said he couldnt quite hit 11's... He's not afraid to pop the hood any more either
