I'm right there with you. I have read a lot of stories (and am even guilty myself at times) of using poor judgement and doing stupid things. But sometimes (not always) with age comes experience. If I spun the tires at a light and my dad spun his tires at a light the cop would nail me. And based on his driving record for the past 35 years if my dad did it and got caught he would get off easy. Even if the kid doesn't hurt somebody it's just a matter of time before his dumbass gets caught or he busts the truck...Last time I checked my warranty didn't cover being a horses ***.

I don't think seattlesnake will be to happy about some of the pics in my album! </font>
Hey don't get me wrong, I enjoy my truck too.
And those are pretty cool pics.
It looks like you are demonstrating a great burnout and for a reason (your page).
I doubt you do that every where you go and in a public parking lot like the kid mentioned above.
I wouldn't do that to new tires, but I look forward to giving my tires a Vikings funeral when they're worn out and need replacing.
From the looks of your pics, it looks like you were on a country road out where it's more appropriate.

Cool

I am a 19 year old kid with a brand new 2001 silver L and my dad bought it for me. My dad told me in junior high, if I maintain a 3.8 gpa through out the rest of my years going to school he will buy me any car I want. I worked my a$$ off in school, and drove an old 1972 Mercedes Turbo Diesel Station Wagon and that thing was the biggest POS. 0-60 in like 32 seconds, one bucket a$$ ride. Well senior year finaly came up and two months ago when I was accepted to LMU my dad said are you ready to get the car you want. I was like hell yea and couldn't get an hour of sleep till I got the damn thing. I don't take it for granted I think I worked my *** off to achieve what I have done in school. I plan on doing the same in college. I take exetremely good care of my truck and spend 3 to 4 hours washing it every week. I am very thankful for what I have and the family I was brought up in, and there is not a day that goes by where I thank God for what I have. I don't know about this other kid that got one, but maybe he is the same as me. I just hope you would take better care of the L. :P

LightningGirl:
Yeah you got a good point their, but you know you could always wave a big bag of donuts in front of the cop he might be a little more understanding.

LMU=One tough school to get into.

Well done son and a good post as well.
Reminds me of my son 16 years ago.
UCONN and he got a Cougar to drive.
