Guys,
Every time I look at the tails I like them more and more. Love the Front End of the Truck too.
It seems SVT did a good job with the week-end, every customer I talk to loved it. It was amazing to talk to so many HAPPY people who love their SVT.

Good Point,I felt the same way you did about the 2001 so I bought the 2000 now. the extra cash I saved on the price of the truck and then going back to 99-00 wheels will all go into mods now. God bless america. anyhow, when that supercharged V10 hits the lightnings engine bay by 2003 all of us will be chomping at the bit for that bolt and I can tell you that those 2001 wheels wont be on it either!

They riced it out!!! And a SCed V10 Lightning? Don't hold your breath. The biggest engine allowed in a LD fullsize is a 6.0 liter. Also, Ford's latest promise to increase gas mileage figures.

Well It looks good, but dont really like the clear taillights, not too crazy about the front clear lenses. The rims look a bit too squary, but stilll looks good, i like the new grille. But the only thing i would like from it would be the fog lights and the HP and Torque Increase dont forget the gears.

There not putting the keypad on the door for the keyless entry.
I asked about a fix for the intercooler
and they don't yet have one. Just take it to your dealer every tiime until they get the fix!
They also said they will have a TSB on the clunk in a few days and dealers will have the parts soon after.
The 01 L looks prety nice. The taillights do look better all the time, but the grill has to have something done! Paint it or change it!

Great pics!I think I made the right choice to wait for the '01. Definately different, and I love the wheels. SVT sure made a change away from the mundane. For now it will be easy to tell a REAL LIGHTNING from the imposters. If only they would keep the parts away from the wanna-be's and the aftermarket.A few years back GM wouldn't let regular camaros and firebirds buy the better parts-you had to show your vin# to prove your car worthy. SVT should do the same with wheels and side skirts, bumper cover,etc. I think it's kind of ****ty for some of you guys to talk bad about it. I mean you have run of the mill F150 taillights but we didn't poke fun at you. A Lightning is a Lightning no matter what changes are made. You guys are still siblings! And get used to them, soon enough they will be out in force-all 380HP worth!!

I like the front end, I didn't like the wheels at first, but the more I look at them the better they look. I would not put them on my 2000.
