I'm 25. I work at the Ford Integrated Stamping and Assembly Plant in Wayne Michigan building the Ford Fungus er.... Focus. I put 17,500 down on the L to get payments below $230/month. Pay insurance myself along with all mods. Wouldn't be at this point in my life without the help of my wife whose father got me the job at Ford. Thanks Chele.

22, Paid it my self (with help of bank) I had a 92 Ranger dad had paid for and he was paying insurance. Oct '00 Van pulled out and I caught his rear end. Paid half of a great deal on a 98 Ranger (not my red ranger, but white w/ a sissy green stripe). No mods, saving to buy the L and mods for it. Network Admin for startup (dental software). They were my internship. Since it's a startup, no outragious pay... yet . Paying this ranger/insurance all myself. Any donations would be greatly appreciated .

parents bought me a brand new 1957 bel aire fuel injected 283 hp converible white chevy when i was 17 and i wish i had it now.
PS spoiled my kids too and they turned out great.

I am 21 and this is my second brand new truck. The last was a loaded ranger, basically the little brother of what I drive now. Now I have a 2000 F-150 4X4 XLT Ext-Cab Flairside. 5.4 Engine, pretty much loaded except for no leather. I paid 31,500 for it and my insurance is $2,000 a year. I financed for three years and after my trade and down payment my payments are about $600 a month, but I make double payments because I want to get this one paid off so I can get a Lightning too! SO, you ask, how does this kid afford something that runs him about $1,500 a month? (I also have a 2000 Suzuki GSF600 and a 1998 Sea Doo GTX... PAID FOR!) Well, it all started when I graduated High School and started attending a school called DeVry. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree when I was 20. I worked as a network admin while I was in school and then was recruited by MOTOROLA as a network engineer for the iDEN Group. Specifically, I work with Nextel, SoLINC, ClearNet and a few other international providers of wireless telephone/internet/dispatch... and as an engineer that works directly with Motorola's customers, they pay me pretty well! And no, I am not getting laid off! They are and have been laying off people in the areas that weren't making any money... Motorola/Nextel is growing huge.
