Ruslow, It looks like its all coming together, and looks great. I'm ignorant on this, so this may seem like a dumb question, but won't the bed flexing (independent from the cab) cause the back bars to move side to side? I've seen the bed in high-load situations do some weird flexing. Are the bars bolted/welded to the bed or the frame? Will the roll cage stiffen the frame in the rear? Are you going to install an x-bar between them? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm just trying to figure this out. I'd hate to see it pop those windows out.

The bars bolt in but there are tubes that slip inside the bar then slide down to meet the plates in the bed.Have a rule book and it does NOT say that they can not bolt in just that they MUST but up again each other.took me a whille to figure out how to make it work and STILL be legal.Should see it in person is pretty trick!!!!Stan
PS there is more to it than that but thats all you are going to get unless you see it.

Nice edit Max! Let's get back to making these trucks run and look good. Think we got the rest of them shaking now if FD's times are right. Life is way to short to sweat the small stuff.

Cars and Trucks are made to be driven, not worshiped. It looks like Ruslows doing just that, driving it and having fun with it.
If any of you folks out there are upset cause he is messing with something you feel should be worshiped .... Don't worry to much cause in 20 years (IF your still alive, and IF you still care) you will probably be able to pick up a Hemmings magazine any day of the week and find a MINT condition Lightning that has LOW LOW miles, Always been garaged, and is selling for about half or less of what it cost when it was new.

Two thumbs up for Ruslow !!!!!

Have fun and be carefull, 180mph sounds scary

Hey!

I worship AND drive my truck.

Its tough to keep finding virgin Hondas to feed it weekly.
