If that's what it takes to run in the 11's, I think will stay in the 12's!!!

Ruslow dosn't drag race, he autocrosses. I think it looks fantastic man! I'm envious. I'd love to have two L's myself...one for the supermarket and one for the track like that.

Damn, the rush of doing 180. Great cage...can wait for the pix of you on the track!

Ruslow, great work! Don't worry about what others say, you're the one going to drive it at 180. If I were to go that fast I'd want add a little more cage! I applaud your efforts to have the fastest Lightning. Even if it means pissing some people off. Also if thats one less Lightning, Ours just went up in value! Go get those ferraris. Lloyd

Looks damn good, RUSlow! Don't sweat all the bull***** (not that you are, or anything). The Lightning is simply a vehicle that is made to be driven. There are thousands of them out there and by the looks of it, there will be enough "garage babies" to satisfy collectors in 30 years. Too bad those owners will never know what it is like hit 140 in a truck, smoke "sportscars" at the track, or do a big 50ft long smokey burnout. These trucks were made (by drivers) to be driven. It sickens and saddens me that so many will never truly know what it feels like to stretch the Lightning's legs.

Keep up the good work and let us know how things turn out at the track.

DUCK

Ruslow> I think your truck looks great! I think that it's people like you that deserve alot of credit for having the vision and desire to explore the unlimited potential of these already impressive trucks. I hope to be able to attend the Nevada Races this year, even if only as a photographer or spectator.
Someday I will run the course. I hope you have a great time this year, and do well!!

Man I see why you call yourself MadMax now. Everyone here has their own opinions, but I don't think we got to get that nasty. Let's cool it a little. It's only a roll cage.
