Hi All
I ordered a BEDRUG from Autobahn "east coast 800-555-9207" on 12-30-00, I waited till 1-10-01 and called the sales person's
extension who I ordered from, to check on order. He said I've been meaning to call you I quoted you the wrong price. Well to make a long story a little shorter I finally got my BEDRUG on 1-19-01 after paying a higher price and calling WISE INDUSTRIES Inc. twice; also the sales person had ordered the wrong one.
WISE INDUSTRIES Inc. was great, the people were very nice and I really like the BEDRUG. BTW I call AUTOBAHN and talked to a manager, he didn't seem to care and he was a real SMART AS....

 

Wiley C did you go to the svt rally in nashville back in the fall? I talked to some one from Huntsville. I was rasied in Huntsville but now I live in Clarksville,Tn.
Just wondering.....

Yes I was there. I was the one asking where you got the hood, I realy like the looks of it on your truck. I have a black 2000. R U going to the WFC4 in May? I'm planning on going.

Trying to decide. I want to go bad. Where are you staying? When are you going up? My wife keeps telling me to call and make reservations but i would like to stay at the best place. Have you been to an event like WFC before?
Have you done any more mods to your L besides bed rug and lid?

What is a good price for a bedrug? I've been quoted several prices from Truck accessory shops in the area, but I get the feeling it's kinda high. Any help?

 

I'm going to stay where most every one else is staying @ the Ramada Inn Fairview Heights,IL. When the wife and I went to the SVT Experience we did not stay @ the Hotel
where it was hosted from and we missed out on a lot of things going on. Do not know how nice, but I think a lot of the NLOC members stayed ther last time. Not like the WFC this will be my first of this type.

Around $320.00 is a good price. You can call
WISE direct 800-462-8435 and ask them, it may be a little higher direct. I did not ask them I wish I had. Do a search on this boad some other have ordered them and had good luck from where they ordered from.

Wiley C...Autobahn has great products but the sales staff lies to sell anything. I first dealt with them on my hood and asked if it was a true ram air hood and was told yes but when it arrived it of course was not. Then about a month or 2 later I get a bill for extra freight charges I already paid. So I'm not happy but they give me a credit towards anything they stock. Now I order clear corners and it's been almost 3 weeks and everytime I call they just tell me were really backed up but we will call you. Great products but *hitty service. Hope to see all of you at WFC4.

Same kind of exp. here. Orders take forever to get here, even if you get the "wrong" thing--you still pay restocking fee, salesman not very helpful, I'm pretty sure they don't read/answer their e-mail.......No more orders from me!

i do believe that autobahn is actually part of AIM industries. these are the worst people to deal with in the aftermarket industry. if everybody would band together and boycot these two we could either put them out or make them straighten up. its because us, the enthusiast, that they even have an exsistance, why do they treat people so bad? i steer everyone i know away from these guys.

 

Sorry to here others are having same type
trouble. I also think we should band together and boycott. No more orders from me either.

Just an update for anyone considering a purchase from AutobahnWholesale, Inc. I just got off phone with them, found out that whether you receive the exact items you order or not, you pay shipping. You may get lucky and receive store credit for all the parts you were billed for, then refused shipment on, and returned directly to them---but I didn't. If you want a refund you pay 30% restocking. If you question anything, you may be told "salesmen don't always have complete info from suppliers", then you get a comment like "most people that order from us...know what they want". Oh, and if it's in stock, that means to expect at least a two week delivery.

Just thought you might want to know what to expect!!!

 

I ordered by tonneau through someone online...supposed to have great customer service fast turnaround blah blah blah 6 weeks later i still didnt have my bedcover finally got it after three months...kept getting the runaround everytime i called on it...and the only reason I bought it there was to save 40 bucks...my advice to everybody shop around town and if you find a price even remotely close buy it there I am always willing to pay a little extra to get better customer service and satisfaction than saving a buck unless its something absolutely no one else has Also check out the company thoroughly...the one I bought from changed names three times by the time I got my cover so i couldnt even tell you what they are now..luckily phone # hadnt changed and it was on my cc bill
