BTW Gentlemen,

I seen a 99 White Lightning while at the bodyshop today, its for sale at Dub Richardson Ford for 29K. These vehicles are absoultely awesome & if you take care of these babies they will always retain their resale value. I've decided after putting the JBA headers on the truck just to keep it red for this reason. Good luck with all your Beasties.

Damn. Damn. Damn it! I thought I was almost done with the money pit...sigh. There goes another $1600 give or take.....I really like that they have their own little rug to sleep on till you get them installed.

Is the factory (SVT) center cap not available in chrome?

What are you going to do about lug nuts and wheel locks?

So, Asdeman, does this mean no Giallo Modena Yellow?

Bobb,
No the Ferrari Yellow is a nogo. It was one tough decision but everything else stay except the yellow carbon fiber dash kit.

The center caps can be done with the SVT but I decided to be different.
The factory lug nuts are chrome and as for locking lug nuts I will not be needing them. This vehicle will not be spending any nights outside but I might check into some just for that extra security.

Later,
Terry

Question

Terry,
I ordered a red 2000 L from Dub, is this where you bought yours and if so how have they been about taking care of you after the sale? Mine is suppose to be built next Monday, the 27 so I am curious.

And did you have the wheels chromed locally or somewhere else?

Thanks,
Eric

MisterSVT, I purchased mine their and they have taken very good care of me since I had a sit down with the GM. They treated me like royality after they found out that I work for the FAA Academy, we have about 10,000 employees in the area that buy vehicles from their dealership very often. I bought the rims outright and have sold my old ones already. I bought them thru the online store
on this board and Roger was great. The rims are just awesome looking I can't say enough about them.

Jackal, I will have pix in a few weeks, I really want the truck to be 100% complete when I start showing the Lightning Bolt off.
There was alot of work to go into this project, I have some special stuff that I'm doing on my days off of work to give it that extra, special and one of kind look. If I don't run out of money first. Belive it or not I'm fortunate enough to pay for everything with cash and already paid this baby off. So I will not have any payments if I can make before I have to file Bankruptcy. He He
