Yep, one separator per side will work great, but a 1-way PCV valve is a lot cheaper than an extra oil separator and accomplishes the necessary function (although, the extra hardware does add a 'cool' factor).


Just gotta make sure that you get the proper 1-way valve, otherwise the PCV system wont work at all.

You have missed the Picture...., there is no need what so ever for one on the drivers side, period.Wither one chooses to run a check valve of sorts or not.

do you have the part number for the pcv valve you are talking about?

I've got the picture perfectly - whenever the vacuum in the inlet tube exceeds the vacuum in the crankcase, there will be oil vapors / residue drawn into the inlet tube from the driver's side valve cover (no built in separator). I've had great luck with the setup I'm running for over 15,000 miles - have you run your passenger side separator with just the factory setup on the driver's side?
