Any help/info you can provide would be greatly appreciated and could even temporarily pacify my mania.....

 

I just called VOPC and they said as of 1/18 my L (Which I ordered in Sept.) was put on delay status. I wonder whats Up?

 

As of the 18th, mine is also "teporarily delayed". I guess I won't sell my present truck just yet.

 

I must have been lucky, I ordered my 2001 F150 XLT 4x4 SC on 12/4/00, the dealer gave me an ETA of 1/26/01 and it showed up on 1/17/01. It was built in Virginia. Good Luck !

 

Mine also is still on temp. delay. Hopefully Thor will be able to shed some light on it, when he talks to his buddy. Thanks Thor for everthing.

Still no word!! He wasn't in today again. As soon as I hear something I'll get back with you all. I still haven't heard of any delays from others. He's the only one i know that can look them up!! I'll try again tomorrow

No, my build date did not change. As a matter of fact that, in a way, was the concern I had. Until yesterday the VOPC had my last update as of 12/4 which to me seemed a little odd. I got to feeling that I was the customer that time forgot. The new update cme out today as I got the old 12/4 update yesterday.

i was in a service garage the other day getting an inspection for my mustang, and i overheard the mechanic saying to a customer who had an older f150 being repaired that there was a national shortage on some ford parts, and it would be 2 weeks before the guy's part came in. this could have something to do with the lightning delays, but maybe not..
