Brian,
Just got them installed last week, had to remove the rear axle, and take it in to avoid taking the truck out on the Minnesota salted roads. Hopefully winter will end in soon so the toys can come back out. I will let you know as soon as I drive it.

bggroth,

There is no real close tracks to Corpus. The only one I know of is Rivercity Raceway in Seguin, TX. Probably about 1.5hrs from where you will be, at least. I think there is one in San Antonio - Alamo dragway, but have never been there. All the ones I frequent are in the Houston area, a long way from Corpus. Maybe some of the guys that live out that way can respond to this better. Have fun.

There aren't any tracks open in CC at this time. The only tracks open would be the ones mentioned above.

Actually we are heading down to Corpus from Dallas to see my parents, but are going to be just driving around bumming and seeing the sights for a week. So if any of the strips are open during week nights in the general area we could probly make it. Miss the track, the winter has been too long up here.
Thanks Brian

bggroth,
If you're still going to be around on February 3rd there's a group from Dallas that are going to Hallsville Raceway (1.5 hours east of Dallas). At present it looks like me, Autothrottle, Sixpipes, and Silver_2000. Hallsville is a nice track, and it's not a bad drive. You'd be welcome to join us. We usually meet up in Balch Springs (suburb on the far east side of Dallas), enjoy a scenic drive to east Tx, eat lunch, race through the evening, and then head back in caravan.

While in Corpus go to the Palace! Don't bring your wife/girlfriend. Nuff said.
