I went to mu buddy's house to find out what the deal was with the race. I have not seen him in 4 days and wanted to know what was up. As i walked in his garage I saw 2 boxes on the bed of his truck and his 4 yr old came out of the house and said, "shhhh my daddy said not to tell you what he's installing a 50 shot in his truck". I stated to laugh and then my buddy walked out and told me that after researching online and watching some videos on youtube he knows that i will probably will take him so he backed out till he installs his 50 shot. So I'm buying a 6 # lower, mafia extender and some ngk tr7's. I am going to have my local tuner dyno tune the truck. I am using tr6's gapped at 32. how big should i gap these? i remember a post from Rob with a general rule of thumb on spark plug gaps but i cant find it. thanks in advance.

Still work under the principle of boost does it not.

Therefore too much the tires go up in smoke and you loose, too little and you can't get off the line and you loose.

either way it is still fuel and air under pressure

SRT's

There's quite a view that visit NED. They are fast but I've yet so see anyone be able to launch the those trucks without bogging or spinning. Seems to be no happy medium.

Best pass i've seen in on was a 13.4 and he actually hooked good and seemed to shift well. A stock 03-04 truck will run that with a 60ft in the 1.9x.

I say you will easily take him if you don't spin. Don't hammer it off the line. Roll the throttle and your golden.

not all SRT 10's Run 13.4
and your point is....... I said the best pass I SEEN was like a 13.4. Did I say that's all they are capable of.......................

No, I didn't. Find an SRT Forum to Haunt will ya.

What's your SRT10 run?

Doesn't matter what the vehicle is capable of if you can't drive it.

We built a mustang 3 years ago to run here at there on the weekends that was capable of 9's. Got all the kinks out, found the best gear ratio, best way to launch, best shifting pattern and finally made 9 second passes this week.

Here's a chart that you can utilyze by cross-referencing how much boost your running. While estimating/gauging boost, you can gap your plugs appropriately with the information as listed.

Is your truck faster than a Ranger?

If so, then don't worry.

Yes, I know the Ranger is modded.
So is the SRT.

Well this the best we have so far http://s171.photobucket.com/albums/u...rent=Mike7.flv
They made a very limited amount of SRT 10's .. less then 7500 total from 2004 to 2006 ... So we do not have the Vendor support the Lighting has ... the biggest problem we have is getting the power to the ground
I Don't get the hate ... every time i have gone to the track the L guy's are cool as hell ..... We all like the same things Fast Trucks and hot Chick's

Cheers J.T.

You obviously don't know ***** about Lightnings - so don't offer up your "advice" on how they operate...
