Cool Just installed the Aeromotive Fuel Rail Kit

I just got done installing the Aeromotive fuel rail kit. It was pretty easy once I got the blower out and had some room to work. This was my first experience with SS braided hose and AN fittings. It's pretty simple if you have the right tools. I got everything in with no issues. The only leak I had was from the 1/8" port on the regulator for my fuel pressure gauge. A little teflon tape should fix that. Other than that I really like this kit and it was actually fun to install. Enjoy...

Very clean install and great pics! I am glad the install was easy. Thanks for taking the time to post it up. I would recommend against using teflon tape and use teflon paste though.

Very nice and I love the way it relocates the fuel regulator.
Any trouble getting the Coils/Plugs out with those rails ?
WOO HOO @ your engine compartment it looks great
Love the Valve Covers and Tank/Batt Relocate, and that ugly *** KB actually looks pretty dam impressive under that upper

One of the best looking KB's I've seen (and upper for that matter)
Did you semi smooth out + Polish the KB
OR SOMETHING ???

Great looking engine compartment! Just like I like them -- clean, functional, and strictly business.

I agree .......the engines compartment looks like all business. Very impressive and nicely done. Congrats

I would PM yet for some reason I'm not able too. So please excuse my non related question. What is the function of the tank next to the battery and where did you get it. Its stainless steel with what appears to be two access points on the top. I'm thinking it's the inter-cooler tank. My email addy is LWA at uswest dot net. Thank you for your response.......8sm

I haven't tried yet. I imagine it'll be a PITA, but I'll cross that road when I get there. The TR-6's I have in there right now don't have very many miles on them, so it should be a while before I need to change them.

You would be correct sir. It's the JLP Ultra Cooler intercooler reservoir. The large opening is for the coolant and the small opening is a little tank for windshield washer fluid. Installing this tank requires the old windshild washer tank to be removed and the small tank allows you to keep the function of the washer. JLP makes two versions. One for the street with the little tank in the corner and one specifically for the track that eliminates the windshield washing function all together. Also, it's aluminum not SS.
