Factory Tonneau Removal help???

What is the best way to remove the factory cover? All those drop through clips need to come out? Is that the only thing holding it on?

Back off all of the Torx bolts which will release the c clamps and the rails will come right off.

Where are the torx bolts you speak of. I have not even got the cover off yet. Does the cover slide off or what? Do you have to pull those 2 spring clips down and slide it off.

OK..I'm gonna assume that you have the cover unhooked from the back and side rails and it's still connected to the front rail?

If that is the case, then slide the end of the cover out of the rounded channel at the front of the bed. That gets the cover off and out of the way.

Then you can go for all the rails.

Wow, Do I feel dumb now. The cover just pulls right off the truck. It has a small lip that is tucked under the channel. Took me 10 minutes to remove entire thing. Thanks
