Jim,

Did some research on silicon hoses... Things to consider:

* Kink resistance - small sized hoses can kink in tight turns, restricting air flow

* Oil resistance - in a blown application (super/turbo-charged), you will get blow-up oil in vacuum hoses... oil and silicon hoses dont mix.

* Illegal in SCCA autocross - stock class
