MNLightning, I've tested tires to 1/2" clearance on the inside with out rubbing. I believe this clearance is mandatory on a street driven vehicle. 1/4" would be fine on the strip. cornering forces will make rear move a little bit. What was the 1/4" clearance? What width tire/rim? BaBolt, are you widening these rims, or having them done? Lloyd

MNLightning,
I didn't mean to insinuate that you would put "junk" on your truck. I just know from racing at NHRA sanctioned tracks that wheel spacers can be a big no-no. Granted, this is taking into account very, very powerful cars running slicks, so there is much more torque at the rear wheels than any L has.
I've been to BABolt's site and the wheels look good...also got to see them here!
Are the new/longer wheel studs you're using pressed into the rotors or are you having to have the rotors redrilled/tapped for the new studs?

can you send me some pics of the rubber on the truck...
i think i found the mod that will solve the 4.10 traction prob (well not solve but help)
I'm new at this board.....
how much all togather would it cost to get 4 lightning wheels chromed, the back two widened and put 345/35/18 out back and 295/40/18 up front)
this is my ideal combo
Let lightning strike any chevy thats gets in the way
