Roush Lowered Lightning
Stupid Ford dealer, had called last week on getting the Rousch drop kit, he said it only comes with the Bilstein shocks @$1500, the dealer said that the Bilsteins are revalved for the lowering of the "L" & that I "NEED" them (BS!). called back left another message that I didnt need the shocks & I want to know how much for the kit w/o the shocks. Still waitng for a call back on that one. BABolt, were told told that you needed to get the Bilstiens????
OK Guys Here you go!!!!!!!!!!
Want to drop your Lightning and use the Roush kit. The complete kit is $1150.00 for the coils, leaf springs and the four Bilstein shocks. Don't want the shocks then the cost is $900.00. Who do you call Roush. Joe Englehardt (734) 779-7495. Oh Ya! they take plastic and they will UPS to your door step. Hope this helps.

Duck..this is the Steeda Part Number. It shows a 2/4 drop. This is on a standard F150. I talked to a Steeda rep the other day on the telly and he stated about a 1/2.5 drop for the Lightning. They use a CNC machined coil..I have used Eibach's on my Z28..did not care for the ride...Hypercoils are better (experienced) ride..The Steeda Handling Kit is 410.00 which is reasonable! I have considered it. The Edelbrock IAS shocks are supposed to be the hot ticket. The GenI Monroe Formula GP's blow away the shocks on this truck we have now. Too much un-modulation. I believe the Lightning could use more spring dampening for handling purposes...just my .02...lata..jw
