Question Towing question

When hooking up the wiring to tow a small trailer (no trailer brakes) with a 4 pin connector is it necessary to install either of the relays into the fuse panel? Thanks in advance.

Duh Which relays ?
When I towed with my 92 that had same connector is was plug and go. Once the hitch scraped through the rust on the ball I had lights....

I am not sure either what relays you are referring to exactly, but I have towed my motorcycle trailer and boat several times and all I did was plug the adapter into the exsisting terminal and then pluged the 4way plug right into this; havent had a trouble to this date.

I think that kit is a leftover from 99 stuff, the relays were already in our 2000s that came with the hitch.

Not necessary ,but is good idea.Relay will keep voltage spike from trailer from damaging
L elecirical system. My 2000 did not have relays installed, were in bag with trailer acc.Just my 2 cents.
