I didn't even install mine in the filter, I'm just going to put the badge off the old box over the hole. I just stuck the ACT sencer in one of the rubber gromets. I don't see it being much difference in air temp. when running. I just cant bring myself to cut wires, I will put a hole in the rubber boot and place it in there 1st.
