Question Waterford Hills Road course

I will be there this Friday for the afternoon session. Anybody else going? Do we really have to have 40 lbs. pressure in all tires?
Hope to see some of you.

Question

Chains: Are you still going to Lapeer every Saturday? I'd like to go on Aug 26th or Sep 2nd. I met a guy who may have run against you out there a few weeks ago. It was a modified Pontiac GTP and he said he blew his engine running an overdriven Lightning.

btw, the Waterford Hills thing was one of the SVT special events that are going on all weekend in the Detroit area. I wasn't able to make it myself.

Jim: It was good meeting you the other night...I was going to email you but I lost that business card...hope to catch up to you next weekend at Dream Cruise..

PFA: I will see you tomorrow, the weather looks like it will be fine.

Chains: Waterford is part of the SVT weekend in Dearborn, activities also include drag racing at Milan. There are plant tours also, I know there is a tour at the Romeo engine plant (where they make the cobra motors). You should have got an invite in the mail.

Speed: It was nice meeting you also, hope to make it to the cruise next week.

Check out this Package:

Here is some shot of some guys going around the track:

Again Have fun tomorrow

And yes you do have to run 40 psi. If your are a pro/open track we were allowing some variance.

WOW!! What a riot, had a fantastic time at Waterford yesterday. I was a little nervous at first, especially when we got there and watched a cobra convertible lose it in the first corner. He did a couple of 360's and ended up in the sand box. 15 guys and a jeep pulled him out with very minimal damage.
Also watched a fellow Lightning owner spin out in front of the tower (only damage to his pride). It was good meeting Silverbullet and PFA, will try to make it to Dearborn this afternoon.

Trimble, we should have Failed you at tech for that Cat Rattle...
I like Teching Friday alot better, we had a Nascar Trolley Jack. After jacking up so many Lightning (and Cobras) Thursday with a K-Mart Blue Light Special Jack, Knees were dead.
