Lightbulb Loads of speed tips!

This site is not for lightnings and I doubt many of these mods have been done to one. I am not brave enough to try some of these bold and inovative steps, and hopefuly neither will you!

Tom:

The time you took to make this post could have been better spent working on the FAQs.

Sandy,
VERY INTERESTING!
Shame on me!!!
By the way, the new chip program is way different than the one we had. Downshift to first at 37mph so far! Part throttle (1/3 - 1/2) 1 - 2 shift lay's a few bucks on the pavement regularly! It shifts Very firm.

Jim,
I put about 100 miles on the truck with the cux1trac program. I have yet to try it in the "race" mode(position 2). It gives boot in the *** shifts at anything more than light throttle. I am happy with the fact that I get 1st gear at speeds better than 20mph. I like the way it shifts in general. I seem to have a slightly high idle right now that I will have them look at. I walked in with my old chip and within 30 min I walked out with a new chip with the new programs. My original had a bad switch. They are almost an hour away from me in daytime traffic so it is a little bit of effort to get there, but I guess it is better than mailing it. It really put a big smile on my face after I put it back in, it was in the box in my garage for a couple of months while the dealer was screwing me.

Tom:

Let me make sure I am not missing something. Are we talking about the program dedicated to racing? Does yours have a program similar to what I have, plus the racing program? They (Superchips) are so close, I certainly don't want to miss an improvement. You had an issue with a switch. Do they reburn at no charge for someone with no problems?
Thanks
