anyone with the CUX1TRAC program who can tell me if the trans will now downshift back into 1st above 25mph? The original Superchip program did not allow for this.

I have the TRAC chip and for a while now. It would consistently run in the 13.6's in the street mode, and 13.3's in the TRAC mode. All on 93 octane gas. Never tried 104 with it as of yet. I now am running nitrous with this same chip and have run a 12.70 with a 50HP shot in the TRAC mode and a 12.59 with a 75 HP shot in the TRAC mode. The shifts are hard in both positions, getting 2nd gear scratch at will. Its a good chip and has been used on two other 99 Lightnings with the same basic results.

No it does not down shift into 1st after 25 MPH. It could be programed to do so if you wanted that option. I do not street race and didn't have a need for this option.

Just in case you are wondering;
No I did not change the chip any at all before hitting it with nitrous. NX told me to tune the truck to its max then install the kit, and tune with the jetting provided. I did just that and everything is running and showing all is well so far. Only up to a 75 HP shot at this point. 12.59 @ 106.49 MPH launching as hard as I could with MT ET Streets set at 22 psi after burnout. I will be testing the 100 HP and 125 HP setting in the near future.
SeeYa Round

Note: Truck weight was 4755 after nitrous runs per scales at the track.

If we were to buy a used chip from an individual, will you reflash the chip and for how much?

00BlackLighning,
I asked Mike the same thing and he said that it would be 125 for the reburn plus shipping.

Hi '00BlackLightning,

Yes, we can easily do that, please give us a shout privately for the specific details, our email & phone number are just below. Steve Eppinger, our Webmaster here, prefers to keep exact pricing issues off the message boards, so we need to discuss that privately please.

Thanks for understanding & talk to you soon!
