That is why the ice cream companies make chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.... And maybe even some newfangled flavors.... Different strokes for different folks

I didnt buy my Flat K&N - and wouldnt spend $50 on a product that you cant see and makes no improvement in HP, Torque or Seat of pants. If there is no "go" value and no "show" value why buy it ?

And as Blue Blood said it only takes a couple minutes to change it back if you are going to show in bone stock category.... Or if you are going to the dealer

Doug

The flat K&N issue was the very first performance mod discussed here, b4 there was a lightning section, b4 anyone made a chip. at the time it was our only mod, so it was thoroughly discussed and tested. b4 anyone had the trucks, there was a rumor from SVT about a free 10-15 hp between the rubber boot and the fender hole, and everyone went looking for it. " 15HP FREE!!!!". guys removed the boot, ran at track, "nothing", bored out the fender hole, to give the boot more air, "nothing", removed flat paper air filter (no filter) and ran, "nothing", it wasn't until the square air box was removed, that the power showed up. that is why everyone sells a conical set-up now
