Question

Dose Borla have a 2 Muffler system. After the poor comments and reactions about the Flowmaster 1 muffler with 2in and 2 out. Im not sure if I want to get on.

Question

As far as I know, Borla does not have a system made up with two mufflers. They do have mufflers available with 2.5" inlets and 2.5" outlets. They also have the tips available individually but you would have to fabricate the rest of the system. Remember, Borla is T304 Stainless, not the easiest material to work with. In addition, although I don't know much about their racing line, Borla is not known for their sound. The advantage to Borla is its million mile warranty and its no hassle bolt on product.

I went for Borla hoping for a modest increase in sound without chopping up the exhaust system. The sound is not as aggressive as I had hoped but I can still drive for 10 hours without ear plugs!
I don't detect any difference in performance.

I put a one in, two out Borla system on my '97 F150 4.6 and was very pleased with the result.

My conclusion is, except for the sound, it's hard to beat the original exhaust system.

Talking

I recently saw a red L at Costco in Oxnard with a Borla system. Stooped down to get a better look, and it had 2 single in-single out Borla mufflers. I'm thinking prototype 'cause the Borla factory is right down the road.

I would love a little sound but i cannot see hacking off my muffler, spending $400+,and only getting a little louder exhaust that gives very little or no power or ET increase. Also look at those tips.Do you know what a pain in the A$$ is must be to keep those clean!!!!!

You just cannot beat the stock exhaust!!!A little more growl and it would be perfect!
