Post Borla now shipping

Well......to my surprise...my Borla system showed up at store. So....I just can't wait to pick it up....but....alas....with work, I can't get out there until next weekend.
;(

Just wanted to pass the word that they seem to be available now as I know a few folks had them on order or were interested.

Question

How much are they? Do they really improve the sound (past Borlas have been well built but really didn't do much for the sound)

Slightly throatier sound, a bit louder in the cab. Passing at WOT with window open, has a sort of blatting sound which is not particularly attractive. Tips look good.

I got it for $399.95 with a grand total of $419.00 with shipping.

Oh no! Don't like the thought of it being "blatting"......however, anything is better than the vaccum cleaner sound of the stock exhaust.

I'll post when I get it.

adp,
Is this a dual muffler system or the standard 2 into one muffler and 2 out like the stock muffler?

The Borla system is two in two out with one muffler, like the stock system. The Borla is a direct bolt on and uses the stock hangers and mounting points. One member was able to put it on by himself in about 30 minutes. Being old and feeble, I had a muffler shop do it and they had it done in 15 minutes. It cost $25 for the install.

I bought my system from Http://www.truckperformance.com/ for $390 including shipping. The tips are integral parts of the Borla Cat Back System.
