Post Calling BA Bolt

BA, Thanks for all your work and help with the 15" wheels. I talked to Brad today & he is going to get back to me tomorrow. It just doesn't seem fair that you do all the development work and don't make anything. Maybe I can catch you for dinner in August.
Thanks, Jim

Anyone else interested in 15" wheel adaptors?
Please post.

Thanks Jim,
I will just be glad if the adapter becomes available. That and the 15 inch Bassett wheel just become another option that other Lightning owners can use. Want to talk about fair you should have seen the BS at Milan Dragway tonight. Everone was get to run except the cars on street tires. I need to say more about this.

Same BS at Route 66 in Joliet several weeks back. Most street cars got one run only, some two. Guys on slicks made 5 or six passes while we all waited in the staging lanes. Don't know if I'll go back there any time soon.

So what is the situation with the 15" wheels and adaptors? Are you saying the adaptors may not be available? I was SO looking forward to this!

Hey Guys!
Call Brad at A1 Racing [url]http://www.a1racing.com[/utl]. If he gets enough interest he will build it.
I gave Brad all of the specs. to make the adapter. I used another style of his adapter to make the very first one to get the Bassett wheel to fit on Bob's (High Risk) Lightning. Just remember this. We had to modify the caliper, remove .100 material from the top of the caliper and some what less from the side. These things are cast iron monsters and can use the shave & haircut. We also trimmed down the dust shield. I can provide directions or if need be reworked calipers. My problem is in getting mill time. Even the people that I know cannot squeeze me in. Hey, in the Motor City mill time is at a premium and I don't want to spend that kind of money to get it. No one could afford the product.

Hey Jim, I think I'll stick with the 16 inchers until my tires are gone. Which I know wont be too long. I would love to jump on it now, just a bit pricey
