does any one know how long the wait for a psp chip and filter combination will take to get right now? sal, are you out there?
p.s. also how do i order this?

 

realistically it will be about 4-6 weeks for the whole combo, but you will be happy with it

 

I hate to bust on Sal , but I got my chip within ONE week of ordering it. Granted, this was NOT a custom chip. In fact, mine's just a single-program piece...which is fine with me. And this transaction was last week.

I don't know where he is on the inlet tube/filter kits, but I got mine a long, long time ago...and was very pleased.

I'm one of the lucky nine, too, I guess. March 17th I believe was my order. Mine will be a real test for Sal, since I changed my order 2 times. I'll be interested to see what shows up in the mail. First, I decided to add the 3.73:1 gear callibration to my chip...and THEN, I went and moved, so I had to change my address with him. But ya know, slow e-mail replies and all...Sal did manage to make the changes to my order, so as far as I know...it will be showing up with the gear change, and to the right address. I just hope Sal has the damn flip chips before he sends mine...cuz I'm not wasting my time installing a single program chip, when I know I'm gonna have to go through all that again to put in the correct one. So...if a single program chip shows up...I'll have to do EVEN MORE &#(@(*% WAITING!!! Life sucks.

Ordered my chip and filter separately. Ordered the filter on March 17, still waiting, but I'm expecting it any day now. Received the chip 9 days after odering, and couldn't be happier with it.

 

I just sent my temp back to Sal for a 4-speed chip with Hurst shifter. i'm running on a superchip in the meantime. i've got the chip swap thing down to a 5 minute proceedure c/w duct tape

 

I am also waiting for my 4-way chip. This I believe will be a very wanted item. Just think,you can have 4 seperate programs all with one chip and a cool control ****. Thanks for everything Sal..

It took awhile for Sal to fill my order for a chip. I found it irritating for people to keep telling those who were waiting to be patient and how it was worth the wait. And after waiting longer than I wanted to I ordered a chip from Mike T (SuperChips) and waited alittle over a month for it. So now I have both,, and have tested both.

Just to add fuel to the fire Sal I read your spin on blower pulleys and would like to know if

This wobble or unstable condition was found on a test bench or on a motor.

At what boost pressure does this happen? This should have been given careful consideration and seems to have been over looked. Or does the blower expire free wheeling @ 14,000.

Hey GMoon what happened to the insight you promised from your Eaton Visit? I was hoping for more technical points than I was in a BBQ or I missed something in your posts... Sounded like you had a great time.

Is a typical 20% safety factor built into the 14k rpm limit?
