My father has owned muscle cars for years (since he was 16) and he never had problems with snow. Even now with his supercap 8 foot bed 2wd f150 there are no problem in the snow. Just dont be driving like its 80 degrees out with nice sticky blacktop!
I'm running 555's on mine and in the snow, ice, and rain it performs wonderfully.
As long as you take it easy and respect it like you woud any other vehicle...start slower, go slower, react wayyyyy ahead of time by playing the "what if game" and plan your stops ahead of time. NO Problems. Common sense goes along ways.

it's not just snow. We've seen people here lose it in the rain and even dry pavement during a momentary lapse in judgement or hubris.
