Thumbs up

Here's another one for Mad's HP computer....only 1 run today before the rain came.....13.227@103. Felt certain I could have gotten to a 13.10 or a 13.0 with more runs.

Ho Humm... Such silly boys with a new car loan. My statement still stands: 13.0's with a chip and K&N filter, not on this planet.

Um,

Now I understand, MAD is not from THIS planet, it all makes since.

All is well, on earth anyway?

You little boys keep slapping each other on the back and everything will be just fine. In the meantime, I'll be at the racetrack lookin for ya. Pick your poison, you want a Ford or a Chevy? Makes no differnece to me.
The fastest Lightning time with a few more mods than a chip and a K&N in my area are 13.4's. Be careful what you say about the local Lightnings, there are on this board but have not stepped up to support the 13.0 claims of the fictitional fast Lightnings. They are afraid to jump in with both feet like ol' Mad`.

Hey MAD last week you didn't believe in the 13.2 Lightning with chip and filter. Now the hurdle has been re-set to 13.0. Does this mean that you now belive that a Lightning with a chip and filter can, in your so humble opinion, go 13.2 ??? And can we also expect your next post to declare that a Lightning with a chip and filter can't go 12.8 in the 1/4?? It just doesn't get any better than this.

Unhappy

I didn't raise the mark to 13.0, some genius on this board made that claim. Go read the other threads. No, they won't do 13.2 either with a chip and an air filter. At least not at the NHRA track I frequent.

Cool

Yes you did MAD, I called you on that last week. Your original claim was the 13.2 but when someone typo'ed a 13.0 you jumped on it with both feet. You might wanna edit your "timeslip" post(if you haven't already) where you first stirred it with the 13.2 claim. I notice you are also backpeddling on which track they can be at also. Hmmmm...you keep moving all the hurdles. At least your learning.

Mad,

We had a nice High pressure day, with temps in the 60-65 range, no real wind, a beautiful day. Now my Bolt can't be the quickest in the USA, so those that claim
only .050 quicker or even a .1xx improvement
can't be that off. I was on the stock F1s and I think good drag radials, should help a small amount also. If you flatly don't believe my time at a track that host a big time NHRA event, then you must be someone who wants all this attention and frankly is a little screwed up. In your defence several people stoped by in the staging lanes and asked how does it run so good? I don't know.
But I did NOT lie to anyone about this ET.
Other with better ETs, haven't lied either, backoff and be a man, on this particular issue you don't know what the hell you are talking about.
