What`s the matter MAD, did`nt you get a chance to visit the boys at the WFC.You being the Mr. fast cobra and all, Haven`t you seen the qualifying results yet? Or I guess the World Ford Challenge is lying about the times also. What you need to do is grow up and stop being such a P U S S Y and grow some nuts,face it when your wrong, it`s O.K. to be a man and accept that you have made a mistake..........

MAD's will just keep raising the bar until his argument will be true. So far these are the requirements that MAD says a Lightnng must accomplish on just a chip and filter.

-must run a 13.0
-must make the run at a NHRA track
-He must be present since there is no way he'll believe you and might not even if he is there.

Your theory is dismissed and yes Lightnings can run the 13.2 you originally stated. If you doubt it then so be it and if you can't handle that fact then I suggest you leave. Its people like you that will give this message board a bad name and I don't think Steve or anyone else wants this.

SVT true. I didn't see Mad there all weekend. Spiro and Sal were hittin 13.1s all weekend with water in the box and I think that Spiro only has the chip and exhaust. I hit 13.43 at 102.7 on my street tires with a 1.96 60' time. Where were you Mad? At home strokin it? Your ego that is....

My poor ol' stone stock truck could squeeze out only a meager 13.68@99.5. And all these numbers are in print too. Man, that has to hurt...

Hey Mad, Sal here. Instead of just throwing timeslip numbers at you, I'll give you more data to play with. Spiro's truck was top qualifier in Street Lightning. 13.11-13.16 range all weekend. He also had his truck dynoed at the track. 387rwhp and 478rwtq. How does that fit in your calculators, because that is FACT. My truck and Jim Ritter's truck also were running 13.14s.

Sal, IMHO, you are ripping these unknowing Lightning owners off. I won't go into details about that.
Your times are very fast. Are you running completly stock with a chip and a K&N air filter? Stock tires? I didn't think so.
Why does everyone keep bringing up calculator *****? Too bad you can't up the boost with a chip like the Grand Nationals, huh? I hang at the dragstrip with folks that have your ***** Sal, they ain't running anywhere close to 13.2's, 13.1's, or 13.0's. I say your ***** is a rip for the money. You guys already have blowers and boost so why not try a little N2O? NOS says the 5115-2 will work just fine on your trucks. Are you skeered? Why pay Sal 1K for a couple of tenths when you can drop a whole second or more with a measly $500.00 N2O kit. Oops I forgot, N2O will blow your engine up. Too bad...............

Uh Sal,, I am putting most of your income generating bull***** behind me in this statement. All of your customers are not happy with spending 1K for 2 tenths. Do you wish for me to name names and post documentian on this board for the resident herd of sheep to see? Lightning will not run 13.0's, 13.1's, or 13.2's (all the numbers are for the brain challenged first time car loan veterans) with a air filter and a chip. Not even you SAL.
