Don't have his time slip to post but there was a 99 Lightning in the low 13's as in 13.35 with a MAF by Pro M and a Superchip. Also was using 104 racing fuel. I was impressed at his launches, in the 1.95 to 1.97 areas on stock F1's. Many on this board have the time slips to show. My guess, its a lot of trouble to do so?

 

I guess why some dont post time slips is because they dont have scanners.I dont think L owners would lie to bad about what thier E.T's are.Heck the best ive done is 13.8 @98mph.The only mod i had when i ran was an airraid kit,which doesnt do a whole lot.I would love to post my time slip but i dont have a scanner.

Chip and filter will get ya mid-13's on factory rubber(my sorry driving butt pulled a 13.498@102.69 in my '99 with that setup). Some will even get 13.2's-13.3's. Get some gears and good tires and you are around 13 flat.

Ive got the slip.Ive got 4 of them .1 with a 105mph trap speed.Can I email them to someone????Ive got a scanner but I dont know how to post them.Or tell me how

Lightningquick--so you have a Stupidchip and a K&N, and stock tires. You run 13.20's. OK, can you tell me how much your truck weighs with you in it and anything I might need to know to justify this claim? Oh, you can send me your best slip and I will post it in this thread if you like?

Lightningquick, so why have you all of a sudden turned violent? Is the testosterone overflowing a little to much for you to handle? I never doubted, all I insinuated was that it just doesn't happen at my local track. Of course, I really don't care how fast your truck is (I really like Lightnings but obviously some of the owners have an identity and caveman problem and lack alot of obviously should I say, BRAINS, TACT, CIVILITY ?). I am sure all Lightning owners are not like you. I hope anyway? Can you answer my question about the weight of your truck without the caveman factor getting in the way? I mearly was trying to justify the huge difference in claimed times across the country. Am I correct in assuming you have the best 1/4 time in the country for a Lightning with a Stupidchip and a K&N? See ya at the track....

That sounds like someone getting their testosterone up to me. And I've never seen a top fuel dragster run a 4.51 ET at my local dragstrip, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen...
